Every piece begins here in Belgium and comes to life in India, handcrafted by artisans we know personally. Before starting, we spent over a year visiting all kinds of ateliers. We chose only two – not just for their skill, but because their values matched ours.

And behind Highlands, there’s our own story. We’re Aygül and David, two friends united by a love for travel, culture, and design. Together we built this brand from the ground up, step by step, with trust in each other and in the people we work with. For us, Highlands is more than bags.
